Resolved Question: Can I get through airport security without a boarding pass?

My grandma, who has NEVER been on a commercial plane, is about to fly from Grand Island, Nebraska to DFW Intl. Airport. I'm worried that she won't be able to find her way to the baggage claim or she'll get lost or something.
